MVPA Member George McKenzie snaped some photos as the Western Command Group heads to the Alaska Convoy starting point. These photos were taken at Dawson Creek Campground.
George reports: “They are making a fast trip as they went on to FT St John that after noon. Doing it in 19 days. Only one lady and newer vehicles. I took my RCAF Fordson bomb tower over to show them. It hauled bombs to the Halifax and Lancaster planes and is the only one left from the war.”
