Missouri, October 9, 2010: The WWII Missouri Convoy from Lesterville, MO. Yes, that's right it’s back, and with an all new location! Starting from HQ in Lesterville a convoy of 99 miles in length consisting of WWII era military vehicles will be making an elongated figure-eight route through the some of the most magnificent scenery, and highest mountains in Missouri. With the fall colors this promises to be the most beautiful convoy of the season. Approximately half of the route will be on paved highways with the remainder on forest service roads. Missouri, October 9, 2010: The WWII Missouri Convoy from Lesterville, MO. Yes, that's right it’s back, and with an all new location! Starting from HQ in Lesterville a convoy of 99 miles in length consisting of WWII era military vehicles will be making an elongated figure-eight route through the some of the most magnificent scenery, and highest mountains in Missouri. With the fall colors this promises to be the most beautiful convoy of the season. Approximately half of the route will be on paved highways with the remainder on forest service roads. The route includes Arcadia Valley, Ft. Davidson, and a C-Ration (BYO) lunch at the fantastic Elephant Rocks State Park, Johnson Shut-Ins, Mark Twain National Forest, and the Karkaghne Scenic Drive.
