California, April 18-25, 2010: Camp Delta at Tower Park is the largest annual MV rally and swap meet in the West. The Military Vehicle Collectors of California is the largest MVPA affiliate and has hosted the big Spring Meet since 1978. Located at the Stockton Delta KOA, 6 miles west of I-5 on State Route 12 near Lodi, CA there will be over 200 MVs, with professional and amateur vendors. Wisconsin, May 21 – 23, 2010: LZ Lambeau Welcome Home to Wisconsin’s Vietnam Veterans at Green Bay’s Lambeau Field at 1265 Lombardi Ave. The event will showcase the first public release of the Wisconsin Public Television Veterans Series “Wisconsin, Vietnam War Stories;” which will be shown to the public on the Jumbotron screen as part of the celebration. This is a personal invitation to all Wisconsin Vietnam Veterans offering a warm welcome back that many did not receive. The event is sponsored by The Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, the Wisconsin Historical Society and the Wisconsin Public Television and individual supporters state wide. Ohio, May 29 & 30, 2010: 6th annual Patriot’s Freedom Festival at the American Veterans Heritage Center, Inc., Putnam Library / Building 120, 4100 W Third St., Dayton, OH. A Living History weekend showcasing the Revolutionary War to the present, with small arms and artillery demonstrations, living history encampments, historical speakers, settlers, period crafts, children’s activities, and of course, military re-enactors. There is no registration fee for historical/heritage groups, and facilities, water, and electricity will be available. We also provide our re-enactors with water, ice, firewood, and at least one meal a day. Missouri, October 9, 2010: The WWII Missouri Convoy from Lesterville, MO. Yes, that's right it’s back, and with an all new location! Starting from HQ in Lesterville a convoy of 99 miles in length consisting of WWII era military vehicles will be making an elongated figure-eight route through the some of the most magnificent scenery, and highest mountains in Missouri. With the fall colors this promises to be the most beautiful convoy of the season. Approximately half of the route will be on paved highways with the remainder on forest service roads. The route includes Arcadia Valley, Ft. Davidson, and a C-Ration (BYO) lunch at the fantastic Elephant Rocks State Park, Johnson Shut-Ins, Mark Twain National Forest, and the Karkaghne Scenic Drive.
